Penelope Poindexter
I suppose it's my inner nerd, or perhaps its just an everlasting desire in me to prove wrong one of my many idol's Marilyn Monroe when she so famously stated "Men never make passes at girls who wear glasses", but I'm in admiration of this geek chic image. Not only is it fashionable, but it also displays a strong sense of outer AND inner confidence and self-worth. Come on, tell me you think she doesn't get cat calls on the street just because she's wearing glasses (... more like sexy specs!). Plus you can never go wrong with a solid pair of oxford shoes.

Gender Bender
The runways this season have proven there is no longer a standard in the world of fashion. Colors, textiles and silhouettes can be mixed-and-matched throughout different times of the year and various world locations. The newest craze however is a lack of gender appeal whatsoever, it brings a whole new meaning to the word "androgyny".
Even in Menswear she's a rockstar... she pulls the look off better than the male model!

Summer White- not just for graduates
With graduation season approaching I've been mulling over dress options with all of my best friends. For some reason, a majority of then have it in their heads that white is the traditional color for this day of celebrations. I took it upon myself to challenge them to that ideal and in that journey I wanted to display other ways to showcase the classical, body flattering shade.
New Ways To Accessorize
I'm an admitted organizational freak. I love things being neat and orderly, everything has its rightful place. I though I'd come up with every creative way possible to manage my accessories on a budget, then I came across this little gem of an idea (no pun intended, jewelry lovers). A polished TP roll! Hey as long as it's not in the bathroom that you plan to keep your delicate belongings, by painting and relocating this household common object you could spice up your jewelry showcasing skills.
Also, don't be afraid to mix textures, colors and hardware metallics. If I've taught you anything so far it's that color-blocking is a great way to cleanly show off one's fashion senses. Well color blocking is just the gateway "designer" drug for whats about to come- fabrics are no longer associated with a sole season, and gold and silver can be worn adjoined these days. So bedazzle up your life and don't be afraid to take some risks when accessorizing your day-to-day life.
Again with the Taylor Tomasi Hill obsession, apologies.
I just think this chick has style! For instance, she creates accessories out of common objects and takes the term "hardware" to an entirely new level. Her definition of hardware is not used to simply describe the metal luminosity of an accessory's details, but rather it describes the accessory in its entirety- she uses hardware as jewelry! Also, mixed metals are key.
