All About the Primary

If you're any great classical friend of mine I've most likely already assigned you your solid bridesmaid wedding gown color- obviously in a state of inebriation. The sentimental sensations associated with the New York City library in the first Sex & the City film add to some of the inspiration behind these wedding bell thoughts. But who are we kidding? I'm way too stubborn, driven and independent to let these wedding glory thoughts rule my existence- but still, it's fun to dream of the fashions :)

Judy's Holiday Jubilee

Ever since I was a young child I've adored Judy Garland and classic unusual films. I must have watched "The Wizard of Oz" a thousand times. I must have dressed up as Dorothy even more on a yearly basis for Halloween- yarn french braided wig, ruby slippers, Toto and all. During the holiday season I can't help but reminiscence on these memories. This is by far my favorite Christmas song- bittersweet, it brings back lots of lovable memories!

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Ever since I can remember my family has watched the holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life". By default, it's become an all around favorite family film of mine. The meaningful black and white filmography is akin to the sensational smell of a classical novel.

Rock Out, Rodarte!

BLACK SWAN. Rodarte. Natalie Portman. All award worthy titles.
As a dancer of 17 years I entered this move with pretenses on the survivalist world of a dancer and the fateful romantic tale of Swan Lake. My impressions were forged by Portman's outstanding realistic performance and Rodarte's flawless costuming.

When all you need is LOVE

[its like picking up trash in dresses]

you've got your passion and you've got your pride...

Paris and London's fashion weeks depict a style completely different from that of New York. These ladies evoke a sense of strength- beauty in the silent and confident. They are the epitome of androgyny in the fashion scene; something that Chanel popularized in the 1920s and is clearly being recycled into modernized trends.

... but don't you know that only fools are satisfied?
